Ancient Prayer that never fails or Powerful Prayer to Saint Joseph
It is estimated that devotion to the adoptive father of Jesus began between the 3rd and 4th centuries. But, according to the prayer book Pietá , there is a prayer to Saint Joseph dating from the year 50:
“This prayer was found in the fiftieth year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1500’s it was sent by the Pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves shall never die a sudden death, or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy, or shall be burned in any fire or shall be overpowered in battle. Say this prayer for nine mornings for anything you may desire. It has never been known to fail, so be sure you really want what you ask.

Glorioso Saint Joseph, model of how much you should work with the sweat of your brow, get me the grace to consider work as atonement, to satisfy so many sins. Make me work in conscience, preferring the faithful fulfillment of my duties to my capricious inclinations; make me work with gratitude and joy, putting all my effort and honor into taking advantage of and developing, through work, all the talents I have received from God. Father, Family and Purity
Saint Joseph is the model of Father par excellence who cares about his family and by extension all the families that are put under his protection, but also of chastity and purity, of noble acts and intentions because father is not conceived that don’t lead by example.

Saint Joseph Protector of the Church
Blessed Joseph, chaste husband of the Virgin Mary, remain with us on this day. You who protected the Virgin; and you loved the Child Jesus as your own Son, you rescued him from the danger of death. Defend the Church, the house of God, bought by the blood of Christ.

Needs, consecration and thanks
